Privacy Policy

01Who we are

CloserIQ is an AI-powered sales training app operated by Jacob Hayes-Farmer ("we", "us", "our"). If you have questions about this policy, contact us at founder@closeriq.online.

02What we collect

• Your setup answers. Your industry, role, experience level and what you sell. Stored on your device only.
• Microphone audio during practice calls. Streamed to our voice provider (Vapi) and processed live. We do not record or keep it.
• Call transcripts, scores and coaching notes. Stored on our servers under an anonymous identifier created automatically for your device.
• Subscription status. Handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your card details.

We do not ask for your name, email address or a password to use the app.

03What we use it for

• Personalising your scenarios and coaching to the industry you sell in.
• Running the live voice roleplay through your microphone.
• Generating your post-call analysis and skill scores.
• Managing your subscription through Apple.
• Finding and fixing problems in the app.

04Where it lives

Your setup answers stay on your device. Your call history, meaning transcripts, scores and coaching feedback, is stored on our servers under an anonymous identifier. There is no account attached to it.

Deleting the app removes what is stored on your device. It does not remove your call history from our servers, so if you want that gone, use "Delete My Data" first (see section 08).

05Who else touches your data

Each of these processes data only to do its job, under its own privacy policy.

06Microphone access

CloserIQ needs your microphone to run a voice roleplay. There is no way around that. Audio goes to Vapi for live speech recognition and nothing else. You can revoke the permission any time in your iPhone settings, which turns off voice practice but leaves the rest of the app working.

07What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing or advertising. We do not use your call transcripts to advertise to you, and we do not pass them to anyone outside the list in section 05.

08Your rights

Open the Profile tab and tap Delete My Data. That immediately removes your call transcripts, scores and anonymous identifier from our servers and clears what is stored on your device. You can also ask us to do it by emailing founder@closeriq.online.

If you are in the UK or EU, UK GDPR gives you the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict how it is used and receive a copy of it. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

09US users and California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you additional rights.

• Right to know. You can ask what personal information we collect, use and share about you. Section 02 and section 05 answer that in full.
• Right to delete. You can have your personal information deleted, using "Delete My Data" in the app or by emailing us.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing. There is nothing to opt out of, because we do not sell or share personal information for money or for cross-context behavioural advertising.
• Right to non-discrimination. Exercising any of these rights will never change what you pay or what the app does for you.

To make a request, email founder@closeriq.online. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm a detail about your account to be sure the request is really yours.

10Age

CloserIQ is rated 17+ on the App Store and is intended for people working in sales. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17. If you believe someone under that age has been using the app and has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

11Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted here and inside the app, with the date at the top updated. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will make that obvious rather than quietly editing the page.
